Mental, emotional, and physical techniques

for personal safety and empowerment.

In this approach to self-defense there is an emphasis on creating clear, unequivocal boundaries in ones everyday life as well as in unwanted situations, violent or otherwise. This particular avenue to personal safety was created by women, for women, and emphasizes uniting ones unique strengths with techniques that are proven to be effective in stopping and preventing violence, assault, harassment, and abuse. This holistic method of training encourages and supports:

A belief in your own strength

An ability to identify and set personal boundaries

Understanding and using your voice as a powerful boundary setting tool

Assertiveness skills and de-escalation strategies

Confidence building exercises

Physical techniques for self-defense

Safe space to receive emotional support and options for seeking help

The Goal

This training seeks to provide you with the tools and knowledge to confidently create the life you desire free from the fear of violence. And to also, in the face of violence, have the confidence to defend yourself to the best of your ability.

Self-defense is not just a set of techniques; it’s a state of mind, and it begins with the belief that you are worth defending.
